Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Goes RED for Women & Heart Disease
February is Heart Month and staff at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital wore red on February 5 for the American Heart Association’s (AHA) National Wear Red Day - “Go Red for Women”.
All Memorial Hermann staff throughout the region were encouraged to wear red to bring awareness to women’s heart health. According to the AHA, heart disease and stroke kill 1 in 3 women, yet it’s 80% preventable.
Among those staff pictured in the Atrium Lobby at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands are Sr. VP & CEO Josh Urban, VP & CNO Catherine Giegerich, MS, BSN, RN, FACHE, VP & CMO Chris Langan, MD, and VP & COO Justin Kendrick.
