HTX Youth Soccer coaching opportunities:

The coaching position(s) will direct and be responsible for all areas of a competitive team(s), including:  coach team practices, games, tournaments; develop game preparation and strategy; condition and train athletes in order to develop skill, character and teamwork; communicate to team manager and parents; participate in marketing, promotional and fundraising programs; recruit prospective players and help with the retention of current players; establish and maintain community contacts that enhance the success of the club. Preferred candidates have experience in the Houston, TX soccer market.

Job Duties:

1. Report directly to the Competitive Director (specific age group / campus)
2. Coach 2-3 competitive teams throughout the week and weekend
3. Oversee all communications to players and team managers
4. Assure that all club policies, procedures and project deadlines are met
5. Attend weekly office hours, staff functionsand events
6. Work soccer camps and community outreach programs
7. Perform other duties provided by Director of Coaching – Competitive (specific age group)

Minimum Skills and Experience:

• USSF ‘D’ License or National Youth License 
• 5 Years Playing Experience 
• 2 Years Youth Soccer Coaching Experience 
• Detailed, Self Motivated and Progressive
• Computer Literate (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Passionate

Desired Skills and Experience:

• USSF ‘A’ License
• Five Years Youth Soccer Coaching Experience
• National Youth License
• NSCAA Advanced National Diploma
• Professional / Collegiate Playing Experience
• Excellent communication skills
