The work involves keeping an elderly woman company, driving her to medical appointments, social engagements, and ensuring that she partakes of regular exercise. This role is as a supplement to her existing carer’s work, and will involve mainly house visits and companionship activities on weekends. The objective is to ensure that the client, an active and healthy woman, remains mentally and physically healthy. A range of capabilities will be needed: driving, cooking, tidying up, capacity to sustain conversations, to discuss current events, art, local developments, and to regularly communicate with the children of the woman. Person must be reliable and mature. Pass drug and security tests and present references along with resume.
