Valet Trash Attendant

Job Description

As a Valet Trash Attendant, you will provide exceptional doorstep trash collection services for apartment communities. You’ll be responsible for collecting bagged household trash and recyclables directly from residents’ doors and safely transporting them to the on-site trash or recycling compactor/dumpster. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working independently, outdoors, and providing reliable, courteous service.

Key Responsibilities

Collect bagged trash and recyclables from residents’ doorsteps according to the scheduled service days and times.

Secure and transport waste safely using provided collection equipment (e.g., carts, totes, safety lights).

Properly dispose of collected trash in the designated community compactor or dumpster areas.

Follow all community-specific procedures and safety guidelines.

Maintain cleanliness of compactor and trash collection areas after each shift.

Report safety hazards, property damage, or resident concerns to management promptly.

Represent the company professionally by wearing the approved uniform and maintaining a positive, friendly attitude.
