THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- This December, Schilleci’s New Orleans Kitchen is celebrating their second anniversary at Market Street. Since opening in 2010 this seafood-driven inspiration has been delivering traditional New Orleans classics and a few featured dishes from the kitchen with a slight twist on Cajun/Creole favorites.

“It is truly a labor of love for our entire family and we continue to welcome old friends and attract new fans alike,” said owner/partner Wayne Schilleci, Sr. “We are from New Orleans and the traditional classics we all love and grew up with are what our guests love the most. It’s like discovering a little slice of New Orleans right in the heart of The Woodlands.”

In addition to a growing variety of wines and authentic Louisiana beers such as Abita and Dixie, Schilleci’s keeps bringing in locals and visitors for traditional Po Boys, Gumbo, Étouffée, Creole and other New Orleans standbys. Award-winning Chef David Brittain also serves a varying selection of fresh fish and seafood as well as pork, beef and even some game dishes especially on the featured specials at dinner.

The restaurant began in the Spring area where the family spent five years in a more casual Po Boy shop concept before stepping up to a more formal setting at Market Street. Schilleci’s is consistently voted best Cajun/Creole restaurant in The Woodlands and in Greater Houston. A romantic French Quarter-style venue, it is often a favorite with local lunch goers and the pre-concert and special occasion crowd that floods Market Street seeking great food and fun every Friday and Saturday evening.

Schilleci’s New Orleans Kitchen is located in Market Street at 9595 Six Pines Drive next to Charming Charlie’s in The Woodlands. Call (281) 419-4242 for information or visit the link below.
