The Woodlands Mall hosts auditions and back-to-school fashion show

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Back to school is looking good on Saturday, August 24 when The Woodlands Mall puts the spotlight on style with a fashion show that will have teens and tweens buzzing about new looks for fall. At 2 p.m. on August 24, models from Teens of Fashion and Page Parkes will take to the runway sporting the latest styles for fall.

On Saturday, August 17 and Tuesday, August 20, representatives from BliNC by bambi lynn in conjunction with the Page Parkes Center of Modeling and Acting will be at The Woodlands Mall from 12 to 5 p.m., scouting and hosting auditions for teens to participate in The Woodlands Mall Teens of Fashion group and appear in the August 24 fashion show and future events.

“The fashion show on August 24 is going to be a very fun event! Not only will we be highlighting all the new looks for fall, but the clothes will be modeled by teens from the neighborhood. The auditions are on August 17 and August 20 and everyone who’s interested should come and try out,” says Noemi Cortez, marketing manager for The Woodlands Mall. “Grab a friend and come audition. If you don’t want to be on stage, come to the show and see your friends walk the runway!”

BliNC and Page Parkes are looking for teens ages 13 to 18 to join The Woodlands Mall Teens of Fashion and represent the shopping center in fashion shows and events during the year. Interested boys and girls will complete applications and walk the runway during the interviews, which will be held near Macy’s. Applicants should bring a non-returnable photo. There is no cost to apply.

The fashion show, hosted in the Macy’s courtyard, is presented compliments of The Woodlands Mall. Reservations are not needed to attend.
