Camp Bow Wow announces first Spay-getti, No Balls Yappy Hour

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Did you know that altering increases your dog's life by an average of 1-3 years and your cat's life by 3-5 years? Even more reason to spay and neuter!

Camp Bow Wow®, the nation’s largest pet care franchise and an Inc 5000 company, in conjunction with its premier in-home pet care and dog training components, Home Buddies and Behavior Buddies, is hosting a social, with an Italian theme, to benefit Texas Litter Control (TLC).

Texas Litter Control is a high quality, low cost spay/neuter/wellness clinic and adoption center for companion animals. Their mission is to eliminate the suffering of companion pets by preventing unwanted litters of animals entering into shelters in Harris, Montgomery and surrounding counties in Texas. They are a nonprofit, founded in 2012, and are located at 150 Pruitt Road Suite H, Spring, TX.

As part of national February is Spay/Neuter Awareness Month, Camp Bow Wow's “Yappy Hour” event will hosted at 4 p.m.- 7 p.m. Tuesday February 25, 2014, at the Camp facility located, less than a mile from I45, at 27616 Commerce Oaks Dr., Oak Ridge North, Tx., behind Woodlands Elite Cheer. All proceeds will go in the support of Texas Litter Control.

During the 3 hour “Yappy Hour” pet owners and visitors will enjoy various Italian foods and beverages. Free tours of the Camp are available, with door prizes and other sWAG. Raffles Prizes will be awarded, including a cedar log cat or dog house, with a lounging, viewing, porch on top. Other prizes: a round of golf at La Torretta Del Lago, a $50 gift certificate at Main Event, and other great prizes.

Over 250,000 pets enter into Houston and surrounding area animal shelters each year, including the puppies and kittens of purebred animals. More than half of these pets become homeless and are put to sleep or end up suffering on the streets.

You can help by buying raffle tickets, either in advance or at the “Yappy Hour” event, at Camp Bow Wow.
