Kendra Scott Jewelry to host “Kendra Gives Back Party”

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Kendra Scott Jewelry is helping with the fundraising efforts for the American Cancer Society this year by holding a “Kendra Gives Back Party”, a fun shopping event with 10% off of your entire purchase and 10% of sales donated to the American Cancer Society. The event will be held on May 22, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at their location on Market Street in The Woodlands.

The 2014 Montgomery County Cattle Baron’s Ball is being held at the Woodlands Resort and Conference Center and is headlined by Texas Country Star, Aaron Watson. This year’s guests will enjoy a special Texas Chic Western style event with special attractions including Vegas-style Casino gaming, a Big Board, live and silent auctions as well as the “Circle of Roses” for honoring those who have battled cancer, lost the fight with cancer or who have helped with their efforts in fighting cancer.
All Proceeds from Montgomery County Cattle Baron’s Ball support the American Cancer Society’s mission to eliminate cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives and diminishing suffering from cancer through research, education, advocacy and service. The American Cancer Society is the leading nonprofit organization fighting cancer in our country and the only community-based volunteer cancer organization. The American Cancer Society allocates money wisely in order to offer hope, progress, and answers to individuals in Montgomery County and communities across the nation.

Started in Dallas, the Cattle Baron’s ball has brought together donors from all walks of life to dust off their boots and kick up their heels in support of the American Cancer Society for more than 30 years. As one of the largest single night fundraisers for cancer research, programs and services through the American Cancer Society, the Cattle Baron’s Ball has made its mark on Texas culture and history. In Montgomery County alone, the Cattle Baron’s Ball has raised more than $3 million for cancer research, programs and services over the last 20 years. The goal for this year’s Montgomery County Cattle Baron’s Ball is to raise more than $500,000 for cancer research.
