CONROE, TX -- As part of their focus to meet the needs of youth who have aged out of the foster care system and those living with relatives in kinship homes, Angel Reach conducted their first Bi-Annual Supply Donation Drive on June 21, 2025, near their West Dallas Street offices in Conroe. The Montgomery County nonprofit collected home goods and supplies for their Transitional Living Program and Housing Services which provide residential housing, support and guidance for their clients in need of stable housing.

Angel Reach launched a twice-yearly initiative to collect home goods and supplies for their Transitional Living Program.

“Housing and food security are a foundational element to begin building successes towards a better, independent future, and Angel Reach is blessed that we are able to provide that,” said Dan Alexander, Angel Reach Chief Executive Officer. “This donation drive has been so impactful in providing essentials like hygiene items, paper products, even cleaning supplies and dish soap to supply these transitional homes.”

The National Charity League (NCL) Texas Poppies joined the drive by lining West Dallas Street with signs they created which drew attention and cash donations. They reported that a number of people had gone to purchase items, then returned to donate them after seeing the signs. The Young Men’s Service League (YMSL) – Magnolia, distributed fliers to local businesses, manned donation tables and unloaded donations in the drive through area. Sweet Jay’s Kitchen Food Truck also set up service to help draw people to the event.

“We couldn’t have been more pleased and humbled by the response we received from our community. It’s incredibly encouraging,” said Alexander. “We’re looking forward to the next Supply Donation Drive in September.”
