Blo The Woodlands hosting Summer Trends Preview Party

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – Although the temperatures are already heating up in Houston, the official start to the summer season begins in just two short weeks. To help prepare for the steamy months ahead, Blo The Woodlands, North America’s Original Blow Dry Bar, is hosting a unique fashion show, Summer Trends Preview Party, at its Waterway Avenue location. The event will be held on Thursday, June 19 from 7 to 9:30 pm at Blo The Woodlands; The Woodlands’ only blow dry bar.

Throughout the evening, guests will join Houston fashion blogger and image consultant Magen Pastor for an evening of cocktails, fashion and flawless tresses, styled by Blo’s talented staff. Prominent local retailers from The Woodlands including Elaine Turner, Soho and COS Bar will provide styling, makeup and clothing for the evening, highlighting on-trend summer fashions. Bonefish Grill will serve guests a delicious array of bevvies and nibbles, including Blo The Woodlands’ signature cocktail, the Blotini.

Katie Holditch and Melissa Ranieri, franchise partners of Blo The Woodlands, are excited to host such an amazing event. “Great hair is equally as important as the outfit you’re wearing,” said Holditch. “Our quick, affordable, catwalk-quality blow outs leaves guests feeling not only beautiful, but confident in their look.”

Earlier this month, hairstylist to the stars David Babaii and Academy Award winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow joined forces with Blo Blow Dry Bar to provide creative direction as the franchise expands. Babaii, nicknamed “The King of Curls” by Vogue Magazine, has a roster of A-list celebrity clients around the world besides Paltrow. He is known throughout the industry for creating some of the best red carpet styles and beautiful magazine covers.

Space is limited for the Summer Trends Preview Party and RSVPs are required. Guests can RSVP to blothewoodlands@blomedry.com no later than June 16.

Holditch and Ranieri opened Blo The Woodlands in 2013, and have been coiffing ever since.

Blo The Woodlands is open Monday to Saturday, from 9 am to 6 pm. Appointments are encouraged but walk-ins are accepted. Guests have a choice of seven styles, or blo outs, including the Blo Bro for men.
