THE WOODLANDS, Texas - The Adolescent Roundtable Collective will be hosting an Adolescent Symposium on Thursday, October 8th, at The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce, 9320 Lakeside Blvd #200, The Woodlands, TX 77381 from 9am- 12pm.

According to Mark Crowe, one of the therapists in the Adolescent collective, “The symposium seeks to provide a platform for parents and teens in the community to gain education and resources in topics that are sometimes difficult to locate, or even more difficult to admit the need and pursue as a family. I believe our purpose is to engage, educate, enlighten, and empower.”

The event will kick off the fall season of presentations by exploring three topics concerning adolescents in today’s ever-changing world. Brodie Simmons, LPC, NCC, LCDC will be speaking on technology and adolescent boundaries. George Youngblood, CEO of Teen & Family Services, will be speaking on adolescent addictions. Sasha McLean, LMFT, LPC will be speaking on adolescent social pressures and relationships.

The Adolescent Roundtable Collective would like to formally welcome parents, employers, community members, teachers, and area professional, and those interested in learning more about issues facing adolescents to join the conversation.

The Adolescent Roundtable Collective is a group of mental health professionals, school personnel, and concerned community members, created as a response to the many lives lost in recent months in the Montgomery Community.
