THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The Woodlands Children’s Museum invites children to stop by for breakfast with a special guest, St. Nick.

The Pancakes With Santa event is scheduled from 8 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12. The museum is located at 4775 W. Panther Creek Drive, Suite 280.

Seating is limited, so advanced reservations are required. Tickets are $15 for adults and $30 for children, ages 12 and younger and may be purchased online or by calling the museum.

The buffet-style breakfast of freshly made pancakes, eggs, bacon and juice, includes a special gift for each child, a Christmas-themed marionette puppet show, Christmas carols with Tom’s Fun Band and a photo with Santa.

“Get in the spirit of the season over breakfast and conversation with the star of it all – Santa Claus,” Angela Colton, executive director of the museum, said. “This is a chance for children to experience the wonder of the holidays and have a more personal experience with Santa.”

She encourages families to join the museum for pancakes until 11 a.m., at which time the museum will close its doors to clean up, opening again to the public at 1 p.m. “The holidays are all about family, and the museum is the perfect place to be reminded of that,” Colton said.

Pancakes with Santa is being sponsored by a new child development center in the area, The Learning Experience at The Woodlands/Magnolia, 33043 Egypt Lane in Magnolia. The center, which will open for business at the beginning of 2016, offers childcare for ages six weeks to 5 years, as well as after-school care for children 8 years old and younger. The Learning Experience is a complete child development center with a dynamic and fun educational environment.

The Woodlands Children’s Museum will be all decked out for the holidays, providing a calendar full of fun activities as well as a number of workshops designed to engage children ages 4 through 8, while assisting parents with school holiday and work commitments.
