Montgomery County Sheriff's blotter: July 12-18

THE WOODLANDS, Texas — The following incidents were reported to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office from July 12-18.

District 2 – Lt. Jim Fleming (South County)

On July 12, Deputy P. Lopez-Carpenter was sent to the 500 block of Sawdust Road, in reference to a disturbance. The Deputy met with an intoxicated male and detained him. The male was found to be carrying a handgun and had been inside of the bar. The 43 year old male from Humble was arrested at 1:19am, charged with unlawful carrying of a weapon on alcohol premises and two misdemeanor warrants, and was taken to jail.

On July 12, Deputy K. Christensen was notified of a theft call in the 1000 block of Sawdust Road. The Deputy met with the loss prevention officer and a male suspect. After the investigation, the 32 year old male, from Conroe, was arrested at 9:16am, charged with theft and a misdemeanor warrant, and transported to jail.

On July 12, Deputy C. Cooke responded to the 25300 block of Budde Road, in reference to an assault. The Deputy met with a male complainant who advised his ex-wife had struck him on the face. The 45 year old female from Spring was arrested at 7:56pm, charged with assault, and taken to jail.

On July 12, Deputy P. Lopez-Carpenter was dispatched to an assault call in the 25600 block of Interstate 45 North. The Deputy met with a female complainant who advised she and her exboyfriend got into an argument that led to the male choking her. The 24 year old male from Willis was arrested at 10:30pm, charged with assault, and transported to jail.

On July 13, Deputy C. Cooke was sent to the 25500 block of Interstate 45 North, in reference to an intoxicated male. The Deputy located the male and detained him. The 29 year old male from Spring was arrested at 2:45am, charged with public intoxication and a capias pro fine warrant and transported to jail.

On July 13, Deputy R. Leverston observed a vehicle in the roadway in the 25300 block of Interstate 45 North. The male driver was passed out. The 40 year old male from Grand Prairie was arrested at 5:48am, charged with driving while intoxicated, and taken to jail.

On July 13, Deputy J. Solomon and Deputy S. Lee were sent to a welfare concern in the 26800 block of Interstate 45 North involving an intoxicated male driver that had also assaulted a female. The Deputies stopped the vehicle in the 25300 block of Interstate 45 North. The male driver was detained. The 33 year old male from El Campo was arrested at 10:49am, charged with driving while intoxicated and assault, and taken to jail.

On July 15, Deputy S. Lee responded to the 500 block of Sawdust Road, in reference to an intoxicated male. The Deputy located the male and detained him. The 38 year old male from Porter was arrested at 2:15am, charged with public intoxication, and taken to jail.

An 18 year old male from Spring was arrested at 8:44pm, July 16, and taken to jail from a location on Aldine Westfield Road, by Deputy Z. Vercher, for a felony resisting arrest warrant.

On July 17, Deputy Z. Vercher was dispatched to a location on Broadway Avenue, in reference to a male passed out in a vehicle. The Deputy located the male and detained him. The 43 year old male from Spring was arrested at 3:16am, charged with public intoxication, and taken to jail.

On July 17, Deputies R. Mathis and K. Christensen were sent to a location on Richards Road, in reference to an assault. The Deputies met with a female complainant who had multiple cuts and abrasions from being assaulted by her brother who had also choked her. The 23 year old male from The Woodlands was arrested at 8:31am, charged with a felony assault, and transported to jail.

District 6 – Lt. David Dottei (Woodlands)

On July 13, Deputy Lopez and Deputy Beatty arrive at 25231 Grogans Mill Road, in reference to a welfare check. The suspect vehicle was observed weaving and striking a curb. Upon arrival, they made contact with the driver, a 33 year old male, who had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath. After an investigation, the suspect was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident. Upon booking at the jail, the suspect was also found to have an outstanding warrant for failure to appear in a Justice of the Peace court.

On July 14, Deputy Fleming arrived on scene at 1395 Many Pines Drive, where Senior Sergeant Peckne had conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with multiple traffic violations. Upon contact with the driver, Deputy Fleming noticed a strong odor of marijuana emitting from inside the vehicle. Marijuana was located in the vehicle and in the driver’s shoe. The driver, a 21 year old male, was taken into custody for possession of marijuana and was transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On July 14, Deputy Lackey was dispatched to 6930 FM 1488, in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, Deputy Lackey made contact with the 61 year old female who was extremely belligerent and disturbing other guests at the hotel. After exhausting all means of locating a sober party to assist the suspect home, the suspect was placed into custody for public intoxication and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On July 15, Deputy McDonald responded to a disturbance call on Summer Crest Circle. While checking identification for all the parties involved, a 34 year old female was found to have an outstanding warrant for failure to appear. After confirming the warrant, the suspect was placed into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

On July 18, Deputy Trevino was dispatched to 9200 Grogans Mill Road, in reference to a warrant service. A 26 year old female was taken into custody during her probation visit for an outstanding warrant. The suspect was transported, without incident, to the Montgomery County Jail.
