THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- On Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 2 and 3, 2017, the 15th Annual The Woodlands Fall Home & Garden Show will host over 200 local home-improvement specialists at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, 1601 Lake Robbins Drive.

From landscapes to hardscapes, kitchens to baths, new color to remodel or a custom-built home, those in attendance will find experts and the newest products gathered conveniently under one roof.

“We’re just as excited as everyone else to experience the new products our exhibitors bring to the shows,” said Tony Wood, president of Texwood Shows Inc., producer of The Woodlands Fall Home & Garden Show. “And this year we are taking the fine arts area of the show to new heights with the addition of the Fine Arts Gallery and Demonstration Stage.”

Coordinated by Tom LaRock Paintings, the stage will present contemporary classic drawing and painting demonstrations by LaRock and other professional artists from The Woodlands, Conroe and other Montgomery County locations. A selection of the featured artists’ current works will be on display at the stage throughout the weekend-long event.

“Whether building a custom home or renovating the home you already own, one-of-a-kind artwork is an ideal way to accent or finish the space,” LaRock said. “Be sure to stop by the Fine Arts Gallery and Demonstration Stage to watch the creation of a classic piece of art and enter to win one of my custom drawings or paintings.”

Those attending the 2017 show will have an opportunity to witness a sizzling new cooking experience at Le Griddle Cooking Stage by Cunningham Gas. French chefs Éric and Rémy, inventors of Le Griddle, will present four demonstrations on each day of the show, providing a twist on outdoor cooking with their new product, a stainless steel French grill. The grill’s easy-to-clean 30-inch cooking plate achieves 100 percent efficient heat distribution, a design feature that makes it perfect for a quick, healthy, environmentally friendly meal – breakfast, lunch or dinner. The chefs will share outdoor cooking tips, recipes and samples while supplies last.

For a fresh look at old stuff, join Dr. Lori Verderame, author and star antiques appraiser from the Discovery Channel’s “Auction Kings” and antiquities expert on the History Channel’s “The Curse of Oak Island,” at The Woodlands Lifestyles & Homes Magazine Home Idea Stage as she brings her Antiques Appraisals Comedy Show back to The Woodlands. The former college instructor puts a hilarious spin on the history of antiques, collectibles and family heirlooms. Dr. Lori will have two presentations on each day of the show, providing an opportunity for those who bring an antique or collectable to learn more about the history and value of their items.

Fans of 740 AM KTRH’s GardenLine will have an opportunity to meet and learn from host, Randy Lemmon, who will broadcast live from the show from 6-10 a.m. on Saturday, later taking The Woodlands Lifestyles & Homes Magazine Home Idea Stage to discuss and answer questions on gardening in Southeast Texas. In addition, Lemmon will autograph copies of his latest book, “Texas Tough Gardening.” Show attendees are invited to stop by his broadcast booth where gardening items, courtesy of his show sponsors, will be given out while supplies last.

Transform your home for the fall and winter seasons with a stop at the Ask the Sherwin-Williams Color Experts booth, staffed with color specialists who will present Top Fall Colors and Product Trends using the latest in the company’s ColorSnap technology. Ask them what’s new for 2017 and bring photos, color swatches and measurements for advice and visualization on color selection, matching and more. With a quick download of the company’s ColorSnap app, turn an iPhone or Android device into a portable, personal color guide.

For an interior look that transitions through the seasons, Mary Scalli, owner of Simple Elegance, will present the newest Hunter Douglas Window Fashions. From a wireless operating system that provides the power to control and schedule adjustment of window treatments via a smartphone, tablet or remote control, to the latest designs in shades, sheers and panels, make it a point to stop by Hunter Douglas Feature Exhibit by Simple Elegance.

To learn about the latest in landscape and hardscape design, don’t forget to visit the Stewart Land Designs display. Whether planning an outdoor kitchen, turning a swimming pool area into a relaxing retreat or designing an outdoor entertainment area, the experts from Stewart Land Design will help point homeowners in the right direction.

“There will be craft beer samples available from Houston’s Buffalo Bayou Brewing and Kingwood-based Back Pew Brewing, as well as a variety of wine samples from Messina Hof Winery – from noon to 4 p.m. on both days of the show,” Wood said. “We can’t wait to see you there!”

Show hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets for the 15th Annual The Woodlands Fall Home and Garden Show are $10 for adults, $9 for seniors, and children 12 years and younger can attend for free.
