Woodlands Winter Wonderland: Two venues; one free, family weekend celebration

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The community is invited to enjoy The Woodlands® Winter Wonderland, a free, family weekend celebration on Saturday, December 9 at Creekside Park® Village Green and Sunday, December 10 at Hughes Landing® with both events being held from 1 - 5pm.

The Woodlands Development Company, a subsidiary of The Howard Hughes Corporation® (NYSE: HHC), is the host of this event.

Winter Wonderland will feature reindeer, carnival games and inflatables, balloon artists, face painters, holiday music and merchant booths at both locations. Guests are encouraged to bring their cameras for an opportunity to photograph their child with Santa Claus.

Lovable mascot of The Woodlands, Puffy Pine Cone®, will make special appearances. Additionally, at Creekside Park Village Green, a petting zoo and pony carousel will add to the festivities while Hughes Landing will highlight free snow hill rides.

Creekside Park Village Green is located at 26400 Kuykendahl Road between Creekside Forest Drive and New Harmony Trail. Creekside Park Village Green highlights a scenic tree-lined park with lush perennial landscaping, pergolas and a water splash pad.

Hughes Landing, a 66-acre mixed-use development on Lake Woodlands, is located on Hughes Landing Boulevard off Lake Woodlands Drive. Hughes Landing features luxury apartment living at One Lakes Edge®, an Embassy Suites by Hilton, Lakes Edge Boat House, pieces of art and a band shell.
