The Woodlands Area Chamber Hosts The Woodlands Township Board of Directors Candidate Forum

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce’s Business Advocacy Council held a candidate forum on Tuesday, Oct. 16 to give voters a chance to become educated on candidates running for The Woodlands Township Board of Directors.

Four at-large positions on The Woodlands Township Board of Directors will be elected in the November 2018 election, designated as positions 1,2,3 and 4. Two seats up for election this year, Positions 2 and 4, are contested races.

Treva Taglieri and Brian Boniface (Position 2) and Francis “Frank” Dargavage and Bruce Rieser (Position 4) participated in the forum moderated by Wendy Cawthon, editor of Community Impact Newspaper. Those elected will serve a two-year term without compensation as members of the township’s governing body.
