The Woodlands Township Board holds special meeting at The Woodlands Township Town Hall

THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- The Woodlands Township Board of Directors held a special meeting on Friday, November 16, 2018, at The Woodlands Township Town Hall, 2801 Technology Forest Boulevard.

The Board of Directors took the following action on the Consent Agenda:


Received a briefing on The Woodlands Township Board of Directors officer nomination process for the election of Board officers that will take place at the Wednesday, November 28, 2018 meeting.

The Board of Directors took the following actions on the Regular Agenda:


Approved canvassing the returns and declaring the results of the Directors Election held within The Woodlands Township on November 6, 2018, and the adoption of an Order in connection therewith.

The Board reported 45,769 votes cast in the recent election of four (4) directors of the Township: Position 1, Gordy Bunch, 25,427 votes; Position 2, Treva Taglieri, 9,809 votes and Brian Boniface, 17,771 votes; Position 3, John Anthony Brown, 23,315 votes; and Position 4, Francis “Frank” Dargavage, 7,163 votes and Bruce Rieser, 19,580 votes.

Having received the highest number of votes cast at such election for their respective positions, the Board declared the following have been elected to The Woodlands Township Board of Directors:

Gordy Bunch – Position 1
Brian Boniface – Position 2
John Anthony Brown – Position 3
Bruce Rieser – Position 4
