THE WOODLANDS, Texas -- Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital
celebrated the holiday season with a special event for employees and the community on
Saturday, December 1.

The hospital hosted a toy drive in support of Interfaith of The Woodlands’ annual campaign to
make the holidays brighter for children in Montgomery County. Families dropped off toys in the
hospital’s main lobby and enjoyed cookies, cocoa and free photos with Santa.

Houston Astros first baseman Tyler White also surprised employees and guests by stopping by
to sign autographs and take photos, as did two Houston Texans Cheerleaders and Texans’
mascot, Toro.

Christ Church United Methodist Choir graciously provided the musical entertainment,
serenading guests with beloved Christmas carols.

On Thursday, December 13, Santa visited Houston Methodist The Woodlands again, this time to
take photos with newborns and their families. He then visited patients, spreading joy and warm
wishes for the holiday season.
