The Woodlands Charities Raises Over $22,000 to Support Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands

The Woodlands TX – December 20, 2018 – The Woodlands Charities recently presented a check for over $22,000 to support families with children fighting cancer at Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands through their “Childhood Cancer Family Fund.”

The Woodlands Charities Inc. was founded by business owners and past Board Chairs of The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce: Nina Marino, Amy Milstead, and James Stilwell. The organization is also supported by an Advisory Committee of Community Leaders formed with a vision to bring awareness to selected Montgomery County Charities by holding fundraisers on that charity’s behalf. The funds raised are donated directly to the annually selected charity.

The efforts in 2018 brought awareness to Childhood Cancer and supported families with children battling cancer at Texas Children’s Hospital The Woodlands through a “Childhood Cancer Family Fund”. The Family Fund helps with many needs for families in Montgomery County.

Each year The Woodlands Charities organizes two events; a Chef Showdown in the Spring and a Halloween Party in October.
