Houston Methodist Cancer Center at The Woodlands honors cancer survivors and caregivers at 2nd Annual Survivors Day Celebration

THE WOODLANDS, TX — As Houston Methodist The Woodlands embarks on its 2nd anniversary serving families in Montgomery County, it hosted a celebration to commemorate National Cancer Survivors Day 2019. The event, held in the hospital’s conference center on Tuesday, July 11, welcomed more than 100 cancer survivors, family members and caregivers.

Attendees enjoyed food, fun and fellowship as Dr. Priya Ramshesh, medical director of the Infusion Center, and Dr. Peter Morgan, medical director of the Cancer Center, shared stories of compassion, friendship and survivorship.

This month, Houston Methodist The Woodlands also celebrated the expansion of its Infusion Center. The center opened five additional private infusion bays, bringing the hospital total to 14.
