Memorial Hermann Named Official Sports Medicine Partner with Dynamo/Dash Youth

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Memorial Hermann Health System (Memorial Hermann) has partnered with the Houston Dynamo | Dash Youth Soccer Club as its official sports medicine provider.

The Houston Dynamo | Dash Youth Soccer Club has more than 7,500 youth soccer players, and competes in 31 Houston-area facilities with more than 60 grass and synthetic turf soccer fields. The club currently has 145 highly qualified coaching and administrative staff to support its membership base which includes boys and girls of all ability levels from the ages of 3 to 18 years old.

“We’re honored to provide the Houston Dynamo | Dash Youth Soccer Club with convenient, expert sports medicine and orthopedic care throughout the Greater Houston area,” said Tim Couture, Vice President of the Orthopedic Service Line at Memorial Hermann. “We believe Memorial Hermann has the best resources to care for these athletes at the highest level from injury prevention to rehabilitation from unexpected injuries.”

Members of the club have access to individualized care and customized treatment and training programs delivered by Memorial Hermann IRONMAN Sports Medicine Institute’s affiliated orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, nutritionists, exercise physiologists, biomechanists, strength and conditioning coaches and athletic trainers. The Institute is also home to concussion specialists who provide thorough evaluations and treatment for patients of all ages.

Members of the Dynamo | Dash Youth Soccer Club’s West program will have access to the Memorial Hermann Sports Park-Katy, a new state-of-the-art sports medicine and human performance facility opening this fall on the campus of Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital. The facility is a collaboration between Memorial Hermann and Athlete Training and Health (ATH) to provide a full range of medical care and athletic training for professional and youth athletes, and active adults.
