For the kids, The Woodlands Children's Museum is hosting Mini Masterminds on September 3 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Children can explore how to build numbers with a variety of materials such as dice, dominoes, rocks and cards. The cost of admission is $7.00 for adults and children one year and older. EVENT LINK

Do you have a love of animals? The Montgomery County Animal Shelter would love for you to come and volunteer to walk the dogs on Wednesday, September 4, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Walkers must be 16 + years old. Children under 16 may accompany parents, but cannot hold the leash. If it is your first time, please be sure to come to a Saturday volunteer orientation prior to coming on a Wednesday Night Dog Walking event. EVENT LINK

With Autumn festivities ready to ramp up, it's a great time to have your car seat checked. The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Watch is hosting a Car Seat Check at the Central Fire Station on September 5 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. Certified Technicians from Safe Kids and Texas Children's Hospital will be on hand to check the installation of your child’s car seat. Please bring your child, your child’s car seat, your vehicle and vehicle owner’s manual. EVENT LINK
