THE WOODLANDS, TX - On Wednesday, October 31, 2019, seniors from The Woodlands Christian Academy (TWCA) traveled to the South County Community Center to apply the lessons they have been learning in class to real life. Julie Turner, President of the Texas Patriots PAC, shared the candidates’ stances on the important issues that would be impacted by the upcoming election, Tuesday, November 5.

Encouraging civic participation is in line with Woodlands Christian’s vision to raise servant leaders who impact the world. Having just turned 18 that day, Abigail Armour, a senior at TWCA, was excited to participate in the election, saying, “after 18 years, I am able to stand up for my morals, values, and what I’ve learned, and express it in the public sphere.” Her classmate Rylan Brickhouse shared the same enthusiasm. “This is our chance to be involved in politics,” she said. “It’s finally our turn to have a say.”
