TODD MISSION, TX -- Traffic northbound on 249 will be congested with the planned closure of the northbound lanes in Tomball on Sunday, Nov. 24. Travelers will be diverted to one-lane, two-way traffic on the southbound lanes of the highway from 5 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 24 to 5 a.m. Monday 5 a.m. from Rollingwood Street to Circle Lake Drive.

In order to avoid traffic congestion on Saturday AND Sunday, the Texas Renaissance Festival recommends that visitors approach the festival from the North via the following routes.

I-45: Northbound I-45, exit at SH 105 West in Conroe. Follow 105 to FM 1774 in Plantersville where you will turn left and head south. This will bring you to the festival gates for parking.

SH 290: When traveling north on SH 290, Exit at SH 6 West towards Bryan/College Station, Exit at SH 105 East towards Plantersville. At FM 1774 in Plantersville turn right to head south and you will arrive at the festival!

Once you are on the main roads do not follow alternate routes suggested by Google Maps or Waze. Traffic attempting to get back onto the main roads creates additional congestion to the festival.

Be sure to follow the Texas Renaissance Festival social media for up-to-date traffic alerts beginning at 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. @TexRenFest
