Local artist George Bramlett joins The Houston Area Oil Painters of America

CONROE, TX - George Bramlett, a retired railroad engineer and a veteran of the Vietnam War has joined the Houston Area Oil Painters of America, announced today by the group’s spokesman, Beau Crump.

Bramlett said, “Art is something I have enjoyed my entire life but have only been able to focus on in recent years.” 

Bramlett’s awards include: 1 st place in the 2019 Lone Star Art Guild, 2019 People’s Choice Award from the Conroe Art Gallery, and finalist in the 2019 Madeley National show.

“My artistic talents were inherited and inspired by my father; I place an emphasis on the details of each work of art in order to truly bring the subjects to life and for the audience to feel a moment in time,” Bramlett said.
