Legacy Preparatory Christian Academy – Legacy Prep Athletes Sign Letters of Intent

THE WOODLANDS, TX - Legacy Preparatory Christian Academy (Legacy Prep) 2020 seniors, Emma Messenger and Justin Goldman, signed letters of intent on Wednesday, February 5. Messenger and Goldman will graduate on May 15, 2020 from Legacy Prep and will continue their athletic careers in college. Messenger will attend Florida Gulf Coast University to play golf while Goldman will attend Benedictine College to play football.

Founded in 2005, Legacy is comprised of grades pre-kindergarten through 12th. Legacy prepares students to be successful in college and life by providing a rigorous academic education that is rich in opportunities. Legacy is a University Model School certified by the University Model Schools International (UMSI), headquartered in Fort-Worth, Texas. Legacy is also accredited by AdvancEd.

Legacy Prep Athletic Director Clint McDonald stated, “Legacy is very excited and proud to have Emma Messenger and Justin Goldman sign their letters of intent for their respective sports. These two student athletes represent our school and their families with great leadership and passion for their future.”

Messenger has attended Legacy for a year and a half and has been involved with the Legacy volleyball team and golf team. She plans to study business with an emphasis on PGA golf management at Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers.

“Legacy has prepared me a lot for the next season of my life. I have had amazing teachers who have been by my side from the beginning and fantastic administrators who are very helpful,” stated Messenger.

Kelly Messenger, Emma’s mother, added 'We are so proud of Emma for all the hard work she’s put in to allow her the opportunity to further her education and golf career at Florida Gulf Coast University as class of 2024. We are confident her time at LPCA has prepared her for the next four years of success both on and off the golf course, Wings Up!”

Goldman has attended Legacy for two and a half years and has been involved with the Legacy football, baseball, basketball and track teams. He plans to study either graphic design or kinesiology at Benedictine College in Kansas.

Goldman explained, “Legacy has prepared me for a college schedule and has helped me develop a hard work ethic in everything I do.”

Kanisha Goldman, Justin’s mother, commented, “Your hard work and determination has opened doors for you, and we couldn't be more proud. Be bold, be courageous, be your best! Legacy Prep has prepared you, and Benedictine College will continue to guide you into adulthood. Congratulations on your new journey as a Benedictine Raven!”
