MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX -- 150 vendors set up shop at The Montgomery County Home & Outdoor Living Show Feb. 29 and March 1 at The Lone Star Convention Center. The annual event is the perfect place to buy all things home related, find inspiration for future projects, and connect with companies that can get the job done.

President of Texwood Shows Inc., Tony Wood, said that they hire quality companies who are locally entrenched in the community to participate in the show.

“If [attendees] do business with one of our vendors here, they can feel safe in the fact that these are good people. They’re going to do the job they said they’re going to do for the price they said they’re going to do it for, and they’re going to do it well,” Wood said.

The featured exhibitors included, Outdoor Perfection, ABM Cabinets, The Tallest Tulip, The Billiard Factory, Coburn Supply, Conroe Awning and Screen, Moon Valley Nurseries, Eldridge Roofing and Restoration, Built Green Custom Homes, Renewal by Andersen, Montgomery County Master Gardeners, Simple Elegance, ShelfGenie, Houston Mosquito Control, Sherwin Williams - Certified Color Consultant, Brandon Heitzwebel - Landscape Designer Warren's, Warren's Southern Gardens, and CertaPro Painters.

The show also featured special speakers and hands-on workshops. Attendees had the opportunity to learn and discover new ideas through speeches centered on organization, gardening, home tech, solar power and more. They were able to create and take home their own floral bouquet with help of The Tallest Tulip, or a wooden art piece complement of Board & Brush Magnolia.

Apart from being a fun and convenient event for the public, it’s also a great networking opportunity for businesses. “We try to organize a bunch of people of like interest in one room in one weekend,” Wood said. Giving companies a chance to meet one another and possibly partner together for future endeavors.
