North Houston Chinese Community makes donations to local organizations to fight COVID-19

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The North Houston Chinese American community has made donations to 7 local non-profit organizations in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. During this difficult time, the Chinese community is working with local organizations to provide help for those in need.

A group of 16 people from the community worked to organize over $14,000 in donations from 98 families in the local area. The donations have been made to:
1. Woodlands Methodist Hospital
2. Montgomery County Food Bank
3. Hope Beyond Bridges
4. Compassion United
5. Meals on Wheels
6. Interfaith of The Woodlands
7. Tamina Community Center

Organizers of the donation will continue to work hard with the local Chinese community to make additional contributions to the community in the future.
