THE WOODLANDS, TX --'I am really excited to show the public the number of upgrades and improvements we have made to the facility,' Commissioner Noack said. 'The staff there has done a great job and worked really hard during the closure in order to provide residents of Montgomery County the high level of service they deserve when utilizing this facility.'

The most noticeable improvement is that the facility has been resurfaced with asphalt, which will help improve drainage and create a smooth driving surface for all visitors to the facility. We reconfigured the layout of the facility to make it safer, more efficient and easier to enter and exit. Please pay attention to the new lanes, signage and most importantly we ask that you remember to stay in your vehicle while staff unloads your items.

Some aesthetic improvements include new paint on the bailers and the main pavilion, and new gutters were installed for drainage.

Commissioner Noack plans to restripe the facility in a few weeks after testing the new traffic pattern. Please be mindful of the signage and traffic cones as you drive through the center.

In an effort to continue proper social distancing practices, we ask that you keep all items within arm's reach for the recycle technicians so they do not have to climb into your vehicle to grab an item.
We look forward to serving you I
