Mother Arrested For Leaving Her Young Children Home Alone To Get Hair Done

TOMBALL, TX -- On May 28, 2020, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the 19200 block of Danphe Landing Court to meet with Child Protective Services. Upon deputies arriving, they observed children ages seven, one and three month old twins home alone.

During the course of the investigation, it was discovered that the mother, Gabrielle Robertson, left her four children home alone to be cared for by her seven year old special needs child for several hours while she left to get her hair done.

Constable Deputies made contact with her and she arrived home an hour later. It was confirmed that she was at her hair appointment and intentionally left her children alone.

“Gabrielle Robertson was arrested and placed into the Harris County Jail, charged with four counts of Child Abandonment. Her bond and court information have not been set at this time.”- Constable Mark Herman
