“It’s group cycling in an IMAX-style theatre setting that immerses riders into this three-dimensional experience,” said General Manager Herb Lipsman.

“THE TRIP” is the latest workout from LES MILLS that “combines a 40-minute multi-peak cycling workout with a journey through digitally-created worlds.” These digitally-created worlds have around 20 versions according to Lipsman.

“Our instructors are certified to teach each version,” said Lipsman. “So, if you come in for a class every Monday morning, the instructors can change it up each week.”

With the instructors in front leading the way and multiple projectors providing the scenery, riders are taken on a journey through beautiful futuristic paths that suck you in to feel each and every dip and turn.

“THE TRIP” is a unique experience as there are only about 20 of these studios in the country. Three of them belong to VillaSport locations here in the Houston area, meaning VillaSport has fully bought into providing its members with fresh, exciting ways to workout.

“Our company wanted to do something new,” said Lipsman. “This class was attracting a lot of positive attention, so we went out and looked at everything and this struck our fancy.”
