CONROE, TX - The Montgomery County Memorial Library System is excited to offer online access cards to residents across the County. These new cards will enable residents to access MCMLS online services for one year. Unlike traditional library cards, obtaining the new online access card does not require an in-person visit to your local library. “With the spread of Covid-19, some community members who don’t already have traditional library cards are not comfortable with visiting the library”, says Jerilynn Williams, Library Director of MCMLS. “The new online access card will make it possible for these residents to gain access to the wonderful online resources that our library system has to offer.” Online cards give library patrons access to check out a hundreds of eBooks, eAudios, magazines, movies, and the ability to choose from over 100 different databases, all from the safety and convenience of their home.
