Law Enforcement and EMS Respond to Near Drowning on Lake Conroe

CONROE, TX -- On July 5th, 2020, at approximately 7:19 pm, Montgomery County Precinct 1 deputies were alerted to a drowning that had just occurred in the area of East Beach on Lake Conroe. The reportee advised that a young boy had been pinned underneath a tube and held underwater.

Montgomery County Precinct 1 Lake Units, Montgomery County EMS and the Conroe Fire Department responded to 12353 White Oak Point, Conroe Texas. There they learned that a bystander had started CPR and revived the child. EMS transported the child to the hospital where he is reported in stable condition.
