Monster Mash Trick-or-Treat Stop drive-thru event set for October 31

THE WOODLANDS, TX - Calling all witches, superheroes, goblins and princesses! The Woodlands Township Parks and Recreation Department is celebrating Halloween this year with the annual Monster Mash Trick-or-Treat Stop, and invite you to add us to your trick or treat route! Admission is free and will take place at The Recreation Center at Rob Fleming Park (6464 Creekside Forest Drive) beginning at 5 p.m. Out of precaution and in light of COVID-19, this year's event will be drive-thru only. For the safety of all participants, no walk-ups or bicycles will be permitted. All staff and volunteers distributing candy will be wearing gloves and face masks.

All vehicles must enter at The Rob Fleming Aquatic Center (6535 Creekside Forest Drive) through the entrance on Great Heron Drive. All cars will be queued at this location to enter the Recreation Center Parking Lot. PLEASE NOTE: All vehicles must be inside the queueing area in the Aquatic Center Parking Lot by 7 p.m. After this point, the line will close to allow time for all queued vehicles to drive through the event. The Dog Park at Rob Fleming Park and all indoor facilities will be closed during the event. No public restroom facilities will be available.

If coming from Gosling Road, it is suggested participants travel west on Creekside Forest Drive to Great Heron Drive for access to the Aquatic Center Parking Lot. If coming from Kuykendahl Road, it is suggested participants travel east on Creekside Green Drive to Great Heron Drive for access to the Aquatic Center Parking Lot. Please be advised wait times could reach an hour or more. If lines grow beyond capacity, route redirections are possible. Access to the event may also be restricted prior to 7 p.m. if necessary, based on traffic patterns.

5 to 8 p.m. (Last vehicle must be in the vehicle queueing line by 7 p.m. to participate.)
