THE WOODLANDS, TX -- “I care for humanity. That's the reason I went into medicine in the first place,” said Umang Khetarpal, M.D., the founder of Texas Sinus, Allergy, Snoring and Sleep Institute and of Khetarpal Facial Plastics Institute. “I love that I have the opportunity to change a patient’s quality of life,” he noted.

“Our mission is really to put the patient first and provide excellence at all levels.”

Born in India, Dr. Khetarpal came to the US to study at Harvard, where he conducted research and underwent clinical and research fellowships. He completed his Otolaryngology-Head, Neck and Facial pLastics Surgery training in New York State. He has since published over 20 medical papers or abstracts and last year presented 5 papers on Sinusitis at the International Meeting of Rhinology. His concentration on research stems from a dedication to understand his patient’s ailments in depth, and a commitment to improve their lives through the most effective methods possible.

“Our mission is really to put the patient first and provide excellence at all levels,” he said. His clinic offers a wide range of procedures, including in office sinus surgeries, minimally invasive balloon sinuplasty, allergy services, snoring and sleep apnea treatment, ENT disease, sinusitis treatment, rhinoplasty and facelift surgery, and much more (click here or here for a full list and description of procedures).

Dr. Khetarpal performs many surgeries in office, as opposed to at a hospital. This saves his patients money and time. He was placed in the America’s Best Doctor’s list in 2008 and has recently opened his office in The Woodlands. “I am of the firm opinion that what you do for another you do for yourself,” he commented. It’s this sentiment, his passion for medicine, and his altruistic nature that drives him to provide the absolute best care for his patients.
