THE WOODLANDS, TX - On Sunday, December 20 at 6:00 PM journey back to a simpler time when swing music ruled the airwaves and dancehalls. The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra (WSO), joined by The Woodlands Jazz Orchestra and Sinatra style singer Bryan Anthony perform The Woodlands Symphony Swinging Christmas Concert held at First Baptist Church The Woodlands.

The Woodlands Symphony with presenters The Howard Hughes Corporation and Woodforest Wealth Management gives away 500 free concert tickets.

Singer Bryan Anthony has toured the world capturing audiences far and wide with his perfection to sound like Frank Sinatra and adding his personal experiences to weave a storyline through the shows. Artistic Director Darryl Bayer has chosen music from Frank Sinatra’s most loved Christmas albums to include all your holiday favorites both secular and sacred as originally recorded by Frank Sinatra’s big band with strings.

Director Bayer has noted, “this year, more than ever, the stores are filled with Christmas jazz and swing music. It’s as if America really needs this touch of nostalgia to shake off the dust of 2020 and welcome 2021 in style. This concert, being on December 20th is almost like a Christmas and New Year’s show combined!”

The hottest Christmas present this year are free Woodlands Symphony Christmas concert tickets.

With the commitment to support the local artists this 2020 by The Howard Hughes Corporation and Woodforest Wealth Management, the WSO can give away 500 free seats to their Swinging Christmas Concert this year.

Keeping with social distancing guidelines, the Woodlands First Baptist Church auditorium seats 1100 max so there will be plenty of room for the audience to spread out and enjoy the show. The orchestra is also socially distanced with the WSO’s hybrid formula of a big band with strings! You must register for your free tickets at Eventbrite.com and there is a limit of three per family. There are no walk-ins on the day of the concert. Partner with the Woodlands Symphony and embrace their motto for 2020-21: “Playing it Safe”. www.woodlands-swinging-christmas-2020.eventbrite.com
