THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The K-Sr. Adoption Program is a highlight of the year for seniors and kindergartners at The John Cooper School who team up at the beginning of each school year and get together every month for a variety of activities. The January activity united the groups to read to one another in various locations across campus.

“One of the many positive aspects of a PK-12 school community is the ability for students of varying ages to share experiences together,” said kindergarten teacher Brenda Early who is the lead faculty co-sponsor of the program with math department chair and senior advisor Kim Larance. “These activities create special bonds that form through this longstanding Cooper tradition,” Larance added.

The John Cooper School is a pre-k through grade 12 independent college preparatory school. Virtual Admission Events are scheduled on January 19 for Lower School (PK-5), on January 20 for Upper School (9-12) and on January 21 for Middle School (6-8).

Division heads will present information about curriculum, programs and enrollment for the 2021-22 academic year. Pre-registration is required by going to: https://www.johncooper.org/admission/virtual-admission-event.
