Entergy Power Update - 9:49am - Mark Keough

The Woodlands, TX - Entergy Texas just wrapped up a conference call with elected officials. Progress continues to be made but there still remains large pockets of Montgomery County that is still without power. I have asked that they prioritize returning service to these homes who are now 5+ days without power. Walden, Texas National, Lake Conroe Hills, La Salle Oaks have all been confirmed that Entergy is aware and working on restoration.

The issue preventing restoration as I was informed has to deal with the load on the lines that are currently out. As Entergy energizes the lines the transformers and line breakers fail. Equipment and additional crews have been brought in to work on these areas.

Smaller pockets of outages are still ongoing as well. Entergy has over 1,000 crew members in our area working on restoration.

We will be following up today on progress and looking for good news by the end of day.

CenterPoint has restored all but a few hundred homes in Montgomery County. These are isolated failures at the neighborhood level. Line crews from CenterPoint are out and will be working on restoration as well. No timeline was given for restoration on CenterPoint lines.
