Local Resident, Courtney Pell Wilkerson, Announces Opening Of Pell 1990

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Local Houstonian, Courtney Pell Wilkerson, is launching a new women’s boutique, Pell 1990. The retail store will open at 24811 Gosling Road, a 1700 square foot space in a new-to-Spring shopping center owned by Orpheus Holdings LLC, on October 15, 2021.

Pell 1990 was curated as a wink to the nineties, and will feature an array of clothing, accessories, and jewelry. Patrons will be able to shop from popular brands such as A.L.C, Nicholas, Equipment, James Perse, Agolde and more!

Distinguished, Houston based design firm, Shannon Crain is curating the interior design of Pell 1990. The retail store will feature a collage wall and Instagram activations of nostalgic pictures from the ‘90s, and serve champagne and wine to every guest.

“I’ve always loved everything fashion,” says first-time business owner, Courtney Pell Wilkerson. “Growing up I sketched fashion designs, styled friends, and spent many years worked for local, high end clothing stores. Now I’m living out my dream of owning my own store.”

Pell 1990 is a completely local and family owned and operated business. Alongside Courtney, her father, Gary Pell of Henderson Construction, is constructing the build out, her mom, Christine Pell, will serve as Pell 1990’s bookkeeper, and her four sisters Tori Pell, Kylie Pell, Maddi Pell, and Bradi Pell will also be employed by the boutique.
