Residential Fire Near Fox Run Under Investigation by The Montgomery County Fire Marshal's Office

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Around 8:45 this morning, your South County Professional Fire Fighters with South Montgomery County Fire Department were dispatched to a reported residential fire in the Fox Run neighborhood. The first arriving units were on scene in 4 minutes reporting heavy smoke from the home. Fire attack was quickly initiated and the incident was under control in just shy of 20 minutes. All residents were evacuated safely, and firefighters were able to rescue the owners pets, treated for smoke by units from MCHD and SMCFD. Units on scene were assisted by Montgomery County Hospital District and Spring Fire Department. At this time, the scene is still active as an investigation is being conducted to determine the cause by The Montgomery County Fire Marshal's Office.
