Announcing the winners of 2022's ‘Best of The Woodlands’ Awards

THE WOODLANDS, TX – After three weeks of the community voting from a long list of businesses, the winners of the 2022 Best of The Woodlands have been posted.

This annual competition – now in its 13th year – really brought out the voters in droves. Thousands of businesses competed in 90 categories to be named winners of Best of The Woodlands.

The Best of The Woodlands competition is an annual online survey that begins February 1 and concludes February 21 each year. For three weeks, members of the community get to cast one vote per category for their favorite businesses. These voters choose favorites covering topics that include dining, cars, health, professional services, events, education, entertainment, real estate, shopping, financial services, home improvement, pets, sports, and personal care/beauty.

On top of businesses winning in their respective fields, the community also votes for whom they consider the best single business in The Woodlands. We are proud to announce that Texas Engineered Roofing & General Contracting has been voted the 2022 Business of The Year.

Brad Briggs, president and owner of Texas Engineered, had this to say when informed he had won the prestigious award:

“This is our first year winning the ‘Business of the Year’ award, and it was very unexpected and pleasantly so. While we’ve been delighted to have been multiple first-place winners of the ‘roofing contractor’ category – and even coming in second place for ‘general contractor’ before there was even a roofing category in the competition – being named as essentially the ‘best of the best’ is the highest honor.

“Ever since we opened operations in January of 2014, we have strived to provide the best possible products and customer service. I opted to use an active strategy to reach our clients over the years – one that goes far beyond merely posting on social media and instead getting to build strong relationships with them – and I am happy and proud that they have continued to support us like they do. My crews are the best ‘supporting cast,’ and I’m positive that The Woodlands was the best place to set up shop. Woodlands Online has helped to establish us and helped get us to the next level.”
