MAGNOLIA, TX -- Inspiration Ranch announces Sandy Biggers as its new Vice President of Development. Biggers brings a tenured background in nonprofit development that will propel Inspiration Ranch into a new level of fundraising to support the growth its five-year plan outlines.

“We are so proud, and grateful, to announce Sandy as our new VP of Development,” says Inspiration Ranch President & CEO MG Tindall, “Having Sandy’s level of talent behind our efforts demonstrates what Inspiration Ranch is poised to do for our community.”

Biggers comes to Inspiration Ranch from Buckner International, where she was Senior Gift Officer for Greater Houston and Beaumont. Prior to that, she served as the campaign director for the American Cancer Society, where she led the 40 million dollar capital campaign to build Hope Lodge Houston. She has also worked for Krist Samaritan Center, where she led a five million dollar campaign, Houston Baptist University and Baylor College of Medicine. Most importantly, she holds the Ranch’s core values of Christ-centered, stewardship, and fun closely.

Biggers will grow the Ranch’s development department and lead fundraising efforts as the organization pursues an aggressive five-year growth plan. Between 2022 and 2025, the Ranch’s Equine-Assisted Therapeutic Riding Program will grow from 79 to more than 200 clients served weekly, adding four certified instructors, speech therapy services, and education opportunities. During the same time frame, the Equine-Assisted Mental Health and Learning Program will expand to serve up to 20 groups and 60 private clients weekly through the addition of three mental health professionals and five Equine Specialists. Program growth also means doubling the horses living and serving on the Ranch’s 40-acre property.

“The data shows that our community needs these programs to expand,” says Tindall, “both of our programs have a waitlist. Because we offer services on scholarship, significant growth means significant new fundraising efforts. Sandy is exactly who we need leading those efforts.”

Biggers takes over for Sheila Greaver, who is stepping back to support her family. Greaver will now lead Inspiration Ranch’s Demin and Diamonds Gala efforts in a part-time role after five years of full-time service to the Ranch. Greaver’s time as both an employee and Board Member of the Ranch supported the addition of a mental health program and move from a 15-acre property to a 40-acre home in Magnolia, Texas
