THE WOODLANDS, TX – As we finally recover from the financially and emotionally draining months of the holiday season, it’s a good time to take some spiritual spring cleaning. Several local nonprofit organizations are hosting annual galas around this time of year, and they could use your support. Here is a sampling of just a few that are on Woodlands Online’s radar; all of them are listed on our Events Calendar.

Pavilion Partners – 22nd Annual Wine Dinner & Auction benefiting Fine Arts Scholarships
Enjoy an evening of fine wine, provided by Flora Springs Napa Valley Estate, delicious dinner provided by Fleming's Steakhouse and Wine Bar, and good company, followed by a live auction and bid board sure to appeal to wine connoisseurs of every level. Proceeds from the Wine Dinner benefit The Pavilion Partners Fine Arts Scholarship Program. Since its inception, the scholarship program has provided over $1.5 million in fine arts scholarships.

Breakfast at Truluck's – A Fundraiser for YES to Youth
Join the staff of this amazing local nonprofit organization for a delicious breakfast at Truluck's. Your purchase of a $20 ticket to the event provides 6 meals to children at their shelter.

Interfaith of The Woodlands – The Woodlands Celebration of Excellence Gala
After some rescheduling, The Woodlands Celebration of Excellence is finally ready to honor our Hometown Heroes in the traditional, grand presentation that they deserve after decades of service to our community. Taking place at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center, 1601 Lake Robbins Dr. Mr. George P. Mitchell inducted the first class of Hometown Heroes in 1999, as part of The Woodlands’ 25th Anniversary celebration. Since this time, 139 individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations have received this honor.

Montgomery County Food Bank – One for the Records - Fighting Hunger, Feeding Hope Gala
Montgomery County Food Bank is hosting its annual Fighting Hunger, Feeding Hope Gala, presented by Woodforest National Bank at The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center. The premier fundraising event’s proceeds will benefit Montgomery County Food Bank’s programs and the thousands of food insecure children, families and seniors it serves. Every dollar raised will provide five meals to those in need in Montgomery County. The 2022 Gala’s theme is “One For The Records,” spotlighting the record-breaking work of the Food Bank, its volunteers, and community partners in 2020 and 2021. In 2020 alone, the Food Bank served over 11 million meals to an average of 65,000 people per month. Montgomery County Food Bank’s 2020 and 2021 Galas were not held due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2022 Habitat for Humanity Building Hope Gala
Please join us for the annual Building Hope Gala presented by LGI Homes at 6:30pm at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Conference Center. With chairs Shirelle Chimenti and Kelsey Casey, you will have an enchanted evening: a celebration of home, friends and the future. They are excited to be honoring the dedication of Lisa and Fred Koetting and the Red Hat Crew for this event.

Hope Beyond Bridges – Glamping in the Vineyards Gala
Get ready for an elegant evening of wining and dining at the 3rd Annual Glamping in the Vineyards Gala. Join them as they transform Church Project into a Napa Valley Vineyard and celebrate their volunteers and celebrate the lives of those they’ve helped off the streets. Joining them this year as the VIP Hosts will be the 2021 Miss Texas USA Victoria Hinojosa, 2020 Ninja Warrior Champion Daniel Gil, and a live performance artist Shen Shen.
