THE WOODLANDS, TX -- Missions in a Belizean Paradise!

Twenty two students from Church Project, from The Woodlands, Texas, traveled to Belize on a short-term mission trip, led by Thirst Missions, from June 11-18, 2022. The team was headed up by Calvin Taylor.

The Church Project students spent the majority of their time in Benque Viejo del Carmen and Belize City. They partnered with Monte Carmelo and Casa de Luz churches. The team served both churches and the community through service projects, Sunday School, VBS, Construction, and an Outreach Night. They were able to meet people who needed the love of Jesus in their lives and made memories that they will never forget.

For some fun at the end of their trip, they went to the beautiful island of Caye Caulker, where they had the opportunity to go Snorkeling. Spending time at the end of the trip on an island where the motto is to “Go Slow”, the team was able to relax and enjoy God’s wonderful creation after some powerful ministry.

Thirst Missions is based in Forest Lake, Minnesota, and has been organizing and leading mission trips since 2008. Thirst Missions, the world’s leader in short term missions, lead groups on trips to Alaska, Appalachia, Belize, and Puerto Rico. Whether it is poverty, homelessness, alcoholism, or other struggles, churches in these areas are in need of love and support. Thirst Missions teams partner with churches on location while taking care of all the logistics and planning, so the group members can lead ministry, while building lasting relationships. Thirst Missions is looking forward to serving with Church Project in the future!
