The Signorelli Company Announces New Senior VP of Commercial and Residential Development
THE WOODLANDS, TX -- The Signorelli Company, one of the largest privately held real estate development firms in Texas, announces the appointment of Ralph Ireland as senior vice president of Commercial and Residential Development. Ireland will play an integral role in managing and executing The Signorelli Company’s rapidly growing real estate holdings. During a career that has spanned more than 20 years, Ireland has developed and launched over 13 million square feet of retail, residential, office, hospitality and specialty developments, including nearly 3 million square feet at Lake Nona, the acclaimed master planned community in Orlando, Florida.

Ireland joins at an opportune time, as reflected by The Signorelli Company’s growing portfolio including 4,700-acre Austin Point, located at the future intersection of Grand Parkway and Fort Bend Tollway. Projected to be the largest master-planned community to be announced in Fort Bend County in nearly forty years, the regionally transformative community is planned for over 14,000 single-family homes and 15 million square feet strategically dedicated to serving the county’s growing demand for world-class office, medical, retail, multi-family, civic and hospitality uses. The visionary project will bring population and driver demand necessary to support the Grand Parkway expansion, along with a strong tax base to enrich the local community, school districts and businesses throughout the county.
Also in the planning phase is the recently announced 3,000-acre master-planned community in Splendora, TX, just 15 minutes from the thriving and amenity-rich Valley Ranch community, another signature development of The Signorelli Company. With over 7,000 new single-family homes and more than 1 million square feet of mixed-use development, the plan includes a variety of green amenities, including hundreds of acres of open space, parks, a multimodal network of trails and recreation areas. Envisioning for the project is currently taking place and The Signorelli Company expects to break ground in Q3 2022.
Additionally, The Signorelli Company recently announced a 256-acre community in Conroe, TX off Airport Road and Bluestem, a 360-acre development situated minutes from Katy, the Grand Parkway and I-10 in Brookshire, TX.
Prior to joining The Signorelli Company, Ireland oversaw innovative and visionary developments for Tavistock Development Company, Steiner + Associates and the Walt Disney Company. Among these are a nearly mile-long autonomous vehicle enabled linear park and centerpiece to Lake Nona’s Midtown District, the USTA Home of American Tennis and multiple Disney cruise ships, located outside Orlando, Florida.
Ireland has held numerous leadership positions in industry organizations including the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He holds a degree in Architecture from the University of Cincinnati.
