Tampa Bay Buccaneer Grant Stuard Hosts Football Camp at SCFL

Grant Stuard of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers introduces himself to the kids who signed up for his football camp.

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- From Oak Ridge High School to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Grant Stuard made his way through the rankings and fulfilled many young athlete’s dreams of playing professionally. The Woodlands local joined the community in hosting a football camp at Gullo Field home of the SCFL.

Many parents and excited kids signed up to run drills and learn from the NFL linebacker. Sporting red shirts, cleats and Tampa Bay headbands, the kids tested their skills and learned the proper way to stretch, run drills and exercise.

Kids as young as 5 years old were hitting bags, catching passes and throwing footballs with the guidance of Grant Stuard and his coaches. The Woodlands is one of the best places in Texas for summer camps and it showed with the number of kids that showed up.

Although temperatures would reach nearly to triple digits, everyone was having a fun running drills and competing in their age groups.
