Constables Recover A Stolen Vehicle And Arrest Two Suspects in Spring

SPRING, TX -- On August 11, 2022, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the 21525 block of Spring Plaza Drive in reference to a suspicious person. Upon arriving, the suspect was observed sitting inside a vehicle with a reprogramming scanning tool attempting to re-key the vehicle.

The suspect was detained and identified as Brandon Trevino. Further investigation revealed the vehicle was reported stolen to the Houston Police Department.

His accomplice was also detained and identified as Charles King after he was found inside a rental vehicle that displayed a fictitious temporary license plate at the location. Deputies are investigating whether the rental vehicle is stolen.

'They were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Brandon Trevino was charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. His bond was set at $2,500.00 out of the 351st District Court. Charles King was charged with Tampering with a Government Record. His bond was set at $1,000.00 out of County Court 7.' - Constable Mark Herman
