North Italia Opens Doors to New Woodlands Location Today

THE WOODLANDS, TX -- North Italia, the modern Italian concept known for its crave-worthy cuisine and handcrafted cocktails, officially opened its new Woodlands location today at The Woodlands Mall. The 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive location marks the second Houston area North Italia and the seventh in the state of Texas.

North Italia’s 10,359 square foot restaurant will feature an indoor/outdoor bar along with an open and airy covered patio that wraps along the entire length of the building. The inviting indoor dining room seats 170 guests, outdoor patio includes seating for 98, and the full-service bar welcomes up to 41 guests. The location will also feature five dedicated to-go spaces. From the cuisine to the hospitable service, the North Italia team is proud to offer yet another unforgettable dining experience to the Houston area.

North Italia The Woodlands is open for brunch, lunch, dinner, and Happy Hour. The flavorful menus showcase fresh and seasonal ingredients across a broad selection of small plates, salads, handmade pastas, hand-stretched pizzas and entrées inspired by the garden, farm and sea. The Woodlands location will be the first in the country to debut the new seasonally-inspired fall menu.

LUNCH:

Monday – Friday from 11a.m. – 4 p.m.

Perfect for a work meeting with colleagues or festivities with friends, North Italia’s lunchtime offerings invite guests to dine on refreshingly light salads like the Arugula & Avocado Salad featuring shaved fennel, lemon, grana Padano, and extra virgin olive oil or handmade pizzas including the Spicy Meatball Pizza with provolone piccante, house ricotta, mozzarella, pecorino romano, and red sauce. Delicious, Italian-inspired sandwich options are also showcased on the menu such as the Caprese Sandwich on herb schiacciata bread, baked in-house, with heirloom tomato, stracciatella, torn basil, arugula, house pesto, and calabrian aioli.

DINNER:

Sunday – Tuesday from 4 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Wednesday – Saturday from 4 p.m. – 11 p.m.

Indulge with shareable small plates such as the iconic White Truffle Garlic Bread with house made ricotta, mozzarella, and grana padano, Wild Shrimp Scampi featuring blistered tomato, grana padano, garlic confit, herb butter, charred lemon, and grilled bread, or the seasonal Burrata Di Stagione with fuji apple, roasted butternut squash, toasted hazelnut, herb breadcrumb, and calabrian agrodolce. Main entrees include fresh pasta with the Squid Ink Tonnarelli made with tiger shrimp, calamari, wild fennel pollen, mint, and spicy tomato broth and the decadent Braised Short Rib served alongside roasted fennel, heirloom carrot, grilled asparagus, mascarpone polenta, short rib jus.

BRUNCH:

Saturday – Sunday from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Celebrate the weekend and delight with friends and family over an Amalfi Sunrise cocktail featuring fresh squeezed orange juice, reposado tequila, orangecello, and hibiscus paired with the Grilled Beef Tenderloin & Eggs served with sunny side up eggs, calabrian potato hash, and rosemary béarnaise. Additional menu items include the Rosemary Ham & Crescenza Omelette with campari tomato, arugula, and crispy hash potato, all finished with a sweet bite of Banana Coffee Cake to share topped by a dark rum butterscotch, caramelized banana, and whipped crème fraiche.

HAPPY HOUR:

Monday – Friday from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Enjoyed in the bar area, guests can stop by from 3 – 6 p.m. during the week to enjoy a selection of specially priced cocktails, wines, sangria, and local beers while snacking on select bites including Bruschetta, Italian Meatballs, or the Bottle & Board – which includes a choice of pizza, bruschetta or chef 's board and a bottle of the featured red or white.
