Wednesday, October 12
This is one we’re proud of. The Woodlands Area Chamber of Commerce's Business Advocacy Council has partnered with Woodlands Online to present a non-partisan, all-candidate, live and livestreamed Candidate & Debate Forum today from 4 to 7 p.m. The event, which is free and open to the public, will take place at Sam Houston State University - The Woodlands Center, 3380 College Park Dr. Hear from candidates vying for Tomball ISD Board of Trustees, Lone Star Groundwater Conservation District Board of Directors, Montgomery County Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace, Conroe ISD Board of Directors (partnering with The Conroe/Lake Conroe Chamber of Commerce), and The Woodlands Township Board of Directors. For those who can't make it in person, the event will be livestreamed on Woodlands Online site and page.

Friday, October 14
An integral annual event here in The Woodlands during Breast Cancer Awareness Month is the In the Pink of Health Luncheon hosted by Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Medical Center. The luncheon changes lives by raising funds to reduce the incidence of breast and ovarian cancer and assist survivors in their journey. Join them for the 22nd annual luncheon at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott.

There might be a few fall festivals going on right now, but one that really stands out is the inaugural Nelson Farms Fall Festival. This great fest has something for the entire family, including face painting, sack races, pumpkin painting, animal feeding (mini horse, mini pigs, goats and more), bounce houses, food trucks, and a chance to dunk Texans player Steven Nelson in a dunk tank! Not one to hold a grudge, Steven will be signing autographs and taking photos with your family.

Operation Pets Alive
is hosting a Family Friendly HOWL O'Ween Festival (Including a Pet Parade and Doggie Costume Contest) for the entire animal-loving family. Happening at North Shore Park from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., there will be a bouncy house for kids, entertainment, food vendors , shopping vendors, fishing derby, dog agility demonstration, face painting, bake sale, silent auction. All proceeds will benefit the rescue group Operation Pets Alive, which helps find FURever homes for Montgomery area animals in need, successfully gets hundreds of feral cats spayed/neutered every year, has a low cost spay/neuter program for the public, and provides education on the benefits of spay and neuter as well.
