HOUSTON, TX – The Woodlands, Grand Oaks, Conroe, and College Park all qualified for the Bi-District playoff round against the 14-6A district. The Woodlands faced Benjamin Davis, Grand Oaks traveled to MacArthur, and Conroe tries their luck at Nimitz. College Park will face first place Spring tomorrow at home.

The Woodlands vs Benjamin Davis
Cool, calm, and collected could describe The Woodlands Lady Highlanders at the beginning of the match. They were ready to go to work against the third seed, Benjamin Davis Lady Falcons.

The Woodlands would make a couple of errors in the beginning of the match but shook the rust off and began to play like the powerhouse they are.

In the first set, The Woodlands dominated offensively and tightened up their defense as Davis struggled to get the ball over the net. Claire DeWine would contribute 6 kills overall while Ella Lewis and Bella Haden would add 5 each throughout the match.

The Woodlands would easily take the match with a first set win, 25-10; second set 25-9 and finally a third set 25-11.

They will move on to face either Tomball Memorial or Cypress Ranch.

Grand Oaks vs MacArthur
Grand Oaks would also win their match easily as they took on the fourth seed in the 14-6A district. MacArthur struggled with the 13-6A powerhouse as they were kept to a single digit in set 1.

Grand Oaks would take the last two sets with the last one being the toughest of the match with a 25-19 score. They will move on to face Bridgeland or Klein Oaks in the Area Round.

Conroe vs Nimitz
Just as The Woodlands and Grand Oaks, Conroe was able to get a win over their 14-6A opponent. Conroe would name Ariana Brown as the player of the game against Nimitz. She has a heavy hand and many kills under her belt.

Conroe will move on to face either Tomball or Cypress Woods.
